Retro Reflective Rope

Isostatic Rope

100% polyester Isostatic ropes. These ropes are specifically designed with super low elongation for specialty applications such as highlines, exceptionally long rope climbs, and other applications where professional rope technicians require absolute minimal rope elongation. These ropes are also engineered to stay rounder and have less sheath slippage than conventional kernmantle polyester ropes.

Low Stretch Rope

P6 Rope

PMI P6 Polyester Low Stretch: Specially engineered polyester sheath/nylon core Low Stretch rope with excellent performance and flexibility characteristics. The continuous filament high twist bundled nylon core offers greater stretch than 100% polyester core, making it softer and somewhat more forgiving than all polyester ropes. The 32 strand polyester sheath gives the rope a smooth and easy handling feel while shielding the core from harsh contaminants.

Rapid Search Line II

Designed by firefighters for firefighters. Made from high tenacity nylon with a single aramid cable running through the nylon core, this supple 9mm search line packs away small but is highly grippable even with a gloved hand. The bright Orange and Yellow sheath is designed for maximum visibility in the fireground environment. Not intended for rappelling. Standard lengths: 11m, 15m, 30m, 61m.

Water Rescue Rope

Ropes designed for use as throw ropes in water rescue situations. The continuous stranded polypropylene core provides floatation to the wear resistant braided nylon sheath. This rope has a higher breaking strength than economy polypropylene water rescue rope, and is much easier to grip. Special Retro reflective version incorporate reflective material into the sheath to increase visibility during night operations. Available with or without throw bags.

Lightweight nylon throw bags pre-stuffed with PMI’s Water Rescue Throw Rope. H-T-O Ultra Dry Classic Rope

Now you can enjoy the strength and elongation properties of PMI Classic Static rope, specially treated for floatability. The only Static rope to be treated with the Ultra Dry process, PMI Classic H-T-O really floats! Ultra Dry treatment does not affect the strength or other performance characteristics of the rope. Note: Ultra Dry is a rope treatment, and while it can last for years even in frequently used rope keep in mind that heavy abrasion will diminish Ultra Dry qualities. Made in USA.

Static Kernmantle Ropes

PMI rope was designed especially for rappelling and standing line climbing. The original rope was made for the demanding needs of cave exploration. The same qualities of high abrasion resistance, low stretch, no spin, high strength and easy handling needed for vertical work in caves are of high importance to rescue, industrial and some mountain climbing users. PMI ropes are static by design and should not be used where the potential fall factor will exceed one.

VIS-MAT™ High Visibility Static Rope

VIS-MAT™ uses yarns made with 3M Scotchlite™ reflective material braided directly into the sheath. Thus, the rope can be seen clearly even in pitch-black conditions when a light is shined on it. Fluorescent yarn in the sheath also provides high visibility during daytime and low light conditions.

Dynamic Ropes

WARNING: All UIAA Dynamic Climbing Ropes carry a fall rating of five or more. The fall rating is the number of times a test rope supported without failure the prescribed weight drop. It is NOT a guide to how many falls a rope can safely withstand and be used again. We have heard people say this rope is rated for 11 falls and I have fallen 9 times so I still have 2 left. This is incorrect and very dangerous. Any rope must be removed from service after any severe fall. Reusing a rope after a severe fall is flirting with death. If there is any doubt as to the rope’s strength or number of falls ‑ retire it. Your life is worth much more than a length of rope. Think safety.

Accessory Cord

Rescue Accessory Cords are nylon cords of static kernmantle construction, low stretch and high breaking strength. They should not be used as climbing ropes. These accessory cords have thicker and tighter sheaths than the Climber’s Accessory Cords below.

Shock Cord

This high elastic, recovery shock cord is ideal for use on knee cams in ropewalker systems, as a ratchet cam retractor in hauling systems, or in any other application where elasticity is desired. The cord has a nylon sheath for high abrasion resistance and a core made of many strands of filament rubber. 1/4 inch(6.4mm) shock cord weighs 3.4 pounds per 100 feet(1.5kg/30.5m). Made in USA.
